NTT IndyCar Series 2020 newly updated schedule was confirmed. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, IndyCar officials have made few changes in the schedule.
On June 6 the season-opening race Genesys 300 will be held at 1.5-mile oval track Texas Motor Speedway. The second race of IndyCar schedule GMR Grand Prix will take place on 4 July 2020 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

The REV Group GP which will be held at the iconic, 4-mile road course Road America has been moved from June 21 to July 11-12 becoming a double-header with championship points races.
Due to coronavirus pandemic, two races were canceled: the Indy Richmond 300 which held on 27 June at Richmond Raceway and the Honda Indy Toronto held on the streets of Toronto on 12 July 2020.
The final race of season 2020 will be the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg held on 25th October 2020. Recently a new date was declared after the first race of the schedule postponement because of the worldwide health disaster.
